This class is for young artists who have a real passion for creativity and open to learning and developing their Art skills. Our aim is to build confidence and encourage, support and guide young artists 10-18, who show a real interest in learning about techniques in art. Can work independently around other kids and focus on their work. With an aim towards creating their own art projects and sharing ideas. We focus on a positive environment using fundamental skills through exploring different materials, learning about techniques and while creating individual pieces we explore a personal ideas & narrative by layering elements within their artwork. Whether for their own development or school project, we can tutor and support their growth into their own style.
This weekly Art session is taught by Raquel Carter BFA Hons, a tutor of 10 years with a passion for exploring the imagination, previously at TeAtamira for the past 2 years teaching Art.
Beginning in Term 2 in the new Art Adventures Studio, for young artists on :
Thursdays from 4 - 5:30.
Term 2 - will be a full term 9 wk class -spaces limited to 14 .
Starting May 1st - June 26th.
