School holiday workshops
The school holiday drawing and painting workshops are taught by local artist Raquel Carter. With a BFA Hons from National Art School - Sydney and owner of the Art Adventures Studio at Country lane.
Digital art is taught by Eric Lim, trained in graphic design and is a multi talented mixed media artist.
Both have been teaching art for more than a decade and believe in each student having their own unique creativity waiting to come out. Our classes are not only based on building skills but very much on confidence and freedom in each students own creativity.
Week 1 April 15 - 17th
Does your child have a big imagination ? We are running art workshops each day of the school holidays moving through core skills in drawing and painting with a different theme each day. Come along for 1 session or join us for a few. This programme is for kids 11+ who are capable of self managing, focusing on their art work with experiments, breaks and discussion for a full day of creativity. With all Art materials included.
Week 2 April 22 - 24th
This week we will be taking our young artists further into their own creativity. Still working on core skills, but focusing on their ideas and problem solving at how to bring their imagination out onto the canvas. Join us for 1 session or a few. Beginners welcome - please know this is a youth class aimed at intermediate and high school age children with a passion for art.
All art materials included.
These classes are very much formed around the students interests. Incorporating fundamental skills into the level of ability they have. And we aim to build confidence and understanding of materials through each session.
Tuesdays - Patterns and form with animals - from your imagination
Wednesday - Imaginary landscapes / layered mixed media
Thursday - Faces & People - intro to characters
